Kanegasaki Joseki (Castle Ruins)・
Kanegasakiguu (Kanagasaki Palace)
Kanegasaki Joseki is the historic battlefield where Nitta Yoshisada declared war against the Ashikaga troops in 1336 (Engen 2). Nitta kept the Emperor Godaigo's princes, Tsuneyoshi and Takayoshi, safe. The two princes are worshiped there. As Oda Nobunaga was getting out of trouble from an assault at the attack of Asakura, Echizen in 1570 (Genki 1), he won the battle of Anegawa. An amulet, considered to be a lucky charm to help people overcome difficulties and to have good farm cultivation, was put in Kanegasaki Palace. The amulet is said to be rare, containing the lucky charm and a single Azuki bean.
